Privacy Notice

Pranava Iyer, operating as MCXIV is the data controller for personal data processed through MCXIV. This notice explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have.

• Account data (name, email, login credentials) — to create and secure your account and give you access to your plan. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Subscription data (plan, status, renewal dates) — to provide the paid service. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Support messages — to answer your questions. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Usage and device data (pages used, feature events, browser type, IP address) — for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting and product improvement. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Marketing emails, if you opt in. Legal basis: consent, withdrawable at any time.

Card details are never collected or seen by us — payments are handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record.

Market data files you upload are exchange data, not personal data, and are stored locally in your own browser (IndexedDB) so your volatility history builds up across sessions. They are not uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly use a feature that says otherwise. Clearing your browser storage deletes them.

• Service providers and subprocessors: hosting, database, analytics and support tooling.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers such as legal and accounting, where necessary.
• Authorities, where required by law.

Account and subscription data is kept while your account is active and for up to 24 months after closure, except where longer retention is required for tax or legal purposes. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege database policies, to protect personal data.

Subject to applicable law you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at pranavaiyer7@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your settings, and limited analytics to understand feature usage. You can manage or block cookies in your browser; blocking essential cookies will break sign-in.

Some providers may process data outside India. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
